Bluewin · bluemail.ch

Bluewin mail, in BlueMail.

Looking for the bluemail.ch login? That's Bluewin, the Swisscom email service. Here's the good part: your Bluewin account works beautifully inside the BlueMail app, on every device you own.

Five steps

Set up Bluewin in BlueMail.

  1. 01

    Get BlueMail

Install BlueMail free on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows or Linux, or open web.bluemail.me in your browser. Bluewin has no official app, and BlueMail is a great home for it.

  2. 02

    Add your Bluewin account

Open BlueMail, tap Add Account and choose Email.

  3. 03

Sign in with your bluewin.ch address

Enter your full Bluewin email address (name@bluewin.ch) and your Bluewin email password. This is not your Swisscom login password: you set it separately in My Swisscom at swisscom.ch/myswisscom, under the settings next to your email address.

  4. 04

    Let BlueMail find the settings

BlueMail recognizes Bluewin and fills in the Swisscom servers for you: incoming imaps.bluewin.ch, outgoing smtpauths.bluewin.ch, both fully encrypted.

  5. 05

    Done

Your Bluewin inbox appears in BlueMail and stays in sync on every device, next to any other accounts you add.

Adding the account manually

If BlueMail asks you to enter the servers yourself, choose Other account (IMAP), sign in with your full bluewin.ch address and your Bluewin email password, then use imaps.bluewin.ch with port 993 (SSL/TLS) for incoming mail and smtpauths.bluewin.ch with port 465 (SSL/TLS) for outgoing. The username for both is your full email address. Save, and your inbox loads.

Bluewin FAQs

Quick answers.

Is bluemail.ch the same as BlueMail?

No, they are not the same: bluemail.ch is Bluewin, the Swisscom email service, and BlueMail is an independent email app. But Bluewin runs perfectly in BlueMail.

What are the Bluewin mail server settings?

Incoming IMAP: imaps.bluewin.ch, port 993, SSL/TLS. Outgoing SMTP: smtpauths.bluewin.ch, port 465, SSL/TLS. Username is your full bluewin.ch address. BlueMail enters all of this automatically.

Do I need an app password for Bluewin?

Not a generated app password, but you do need a separate email password. Your Swisscom login password does not work in email apps. Set the email password in My Swisscom under the settings next to your email address, then use it in BlueMail or any other mail app.

My Bluewin login is not working. What do I check?

The most common cause is signing in with your Swisscom login password instead of your Bluewin email password. Set or reset the email password in My Swisscom, then sign in with your full bluewin.ch address and that password. Password resets happen with Swisscom, not BlueMail.

Can I read Bluewin mail on my computer?

Yes. BlueMail runs natively on Mac, Windows and Linux, and on the web at web.bluemail.me, so your Bluewin inbox is available far beyond the bluemail.ch webmail page.

Your Bluewin inbox, upgraded.

Free for personal use on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows and Linux.
