email/IMAP password.
Arcor mail now runs on Vodafone's mail platform, which uses a dedicated email password for apps — separate from your MeinVodafone password. If you've never set one, every mail app login fails.
Applies to arcor.de, vodafone.de, vodafonemail.de addresses.
Step by step
How to create your email/IMAP password.
- Sign in at mail.vodafone.de.
- Click your name in the top right and open Einstellungen (settings).
- Find the Passwort section and choose Bearbeiten (edit).
- Set the email password — at least 8 characters with a letter, a digit and a special character.
- Use it in BlueMail with your full @arcor.de (or @vodafone.de) address.
Worth knowing
- The same servers and password cover @arcor.de, @vodafone.de and @vodafonemail.de addresses.
- Free Vodafone mailboxes are deleted after 180 days without a login or mail retrieval — sign in occasionally to keep the address.
