Software Tester
We are seeking a Manual Software Tester to join our team and ensure that our software products are thoroughly tested and free of defects before release. The Manual Software Tester will work closely with developers and project managers to create and execute test plans and test cases.
Experience
- Created and executed manual test cases for web and mobile applications to ensure product quality and adherence to business requirements.
- Collaborated with development and project management teams to identify and prioritize defects, and worked to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Developed and maintained test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective communication of testing results.
- Conducted regression testing, functional testing, and acceptance testing to ensure that software products met user needs and requirements.
- Provided feedback and suggestions to improve software development processes and procedures, including advocating for the use of automation tools to increase testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Communicated test results and issues effectively to project stakeholders, including providing clear and concise reports - and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
Stayed up-to-date with new testing tools and techniques, and incorporated them into testing processes as appropriate, including researching and evaluating new testing technologies and approaches.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
