How to set up free.fr in BlueMail
- Get BlueMail. Install BlueMail free on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows or Linux, or open web.bluemail.me in your browser.
- Add your account. Open BlueMail and tap Add Account, then choose Email.
- Sign in with your free.fr address. Enter your full free.fr email address and password.
- Let BlueMail find the settings. BlueMail detects the correct free.fr servers automatically. If you're asked to enter them manually, use the settings below: incoming imap.free.fr and outgoing smtp.free.fr exactly as listed.
- Done. Your free.fr inbox appears and stays in sync on every device you sign in on.
First, activate authenticated SMTP for Free
Receiving mail works right away, but sending from an email app outside the Free network fails until you switch on authenticated SMTP. Log in to your Espace Abonné, open Gestion de vos comptes mails, choose Gestion du SMTP authentifié and activate it. Then sign in with your full free.fr address and your mailbox password.
