Instead of using tin.it's webmail interface, you can use a mobile or desktop email app like BlueMail, Outlook, Apple Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird. Desktop email apps offer more features, faster access and offline reading. Your messages are right there even without a connection.
How to set up tin.it in BlueMail
- Get BlueMail. Install BlueMail free on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows or Linux, or open web.bluemail.me in your browser.
- Add your account. Open BlueMail and tap Add Account, then choose Email.
- Sign in with your tin.it address. Enter your full tin.it email address and password.
- Let BlueMail find the settings. BlueMail detects the correct tin.it servers automatically. If you're asked to enter them manually, use the settings below: incoming imaps.tin.it and outgoing smtps.tin.it exactly as listed.
- Done. Your tin.it inbox appears and stays in sync on every device you sign in on.
Set your mail password in the TIM Area Clienti
The tin.it mail password is managed separately from your MyTIM portal login. If you only know your portal password, set or reset the mail password in the TIM Area Clienti first; the change reaches the mail servers within minutes. Then sign in with your full tin.it address and that password.
