Create a T-Online
email password for mail programs.
Telekom keeps two separate passwords: the one you use to sign in to Telekom, and a dedicated one for mail programs. Mail apps only accept the second — which is the single most common reason a T-Online login fails.
Applies to t-online.de, magenta.de addresses.
Step by step
How to create your email password for mail programs.
- Sign in at email.t-online.de.
- Open Menü, then Einstellungen (settings).
- Choose Passwörter (passwords).
- Set the E-Mail-Passwort für E-Mail-Programme — the password for email programs.
- Use that password in BlueMail together with your full t-online.de address.
