Set up Plusnet (now Greenby)
in any email app.
The correct IMAP, POP3 and SMTP settings for Plusnet (now Greenby). Use these with BlueMail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or any other mail client.
Instead of using Plusnet's webmail interface, you can use a mobile or desktop email app like BlueMail, Outlook, Apple Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird. Desktop email apps offer more features, faster access and offline reading. Your messages are right there even without a connection.
How to set up Plusnet in BlueMail
- Get BlueMail. Install BlueMail free on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows or Linux, or open web.bluemail.me in your browser.
- Add your account. Open BlueMail and tap Add Account, then choose Email.
- Sign in with your Plusnet address. Enter your full Plusnet email address and password.
- Let BlueMail find the settings. BlueMail detects the correct Plusnet servers automatically. If you're asked to enter them manually, use the settings below: incoming mail.plus.net and outgoing mail.plusnet.enmail.co exactly as listed.
- Done. Your Plusnet inbox appears and stays in sync on every device you sign in on.
Plusnet email moved to Greenby — your address keeps working
Plusnet exited the email business in 2025 and migrated mailboxes (including Madasafish, Force9 and Metronet addresses) to Greenby — addresses and the servers below keep working unchanged. It's free for two years if you have active Plusnet broadband; otherwise £15/year after a 30-day free period. If you opted out of the migration, your mailbox was closed. Your username is now the full email address — the old account+mailbox format is retired. One caveat: Greenby's official settings reference lists the unencrypted ports shown below; if your app insists on SSL, check Greenby's knowledge base for current secure options.
