Set up Sky (Sky Yahoo Mail)
in any email app.

The correct IMAP, POP3 and SMTP settings for Sky (Sky Yahoo Mail). Use these with BlueMail, Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or any other mail client.

Instead of using Sky's webmail interface, you can use a mobile or desktop email app like BlueMail, Outlook, Apple Mail or Mozilla Thunderbird. Desktop email apps offer more features, faster access and offline reading. Your messages are right there even without a connection.

How to set up Sky in BlueMail

  1. Get BlueMail. Install BlueMail free on iOS, Android, Mac, Windows or Linux, or open web.bluemail.me in your browser.
  2. Add your account. Open BlueMail and tap Add Account, then choose Email.
  3. Sign in with your Sky address. Enter your full Sky email address and password.
  4. Let BlueMail find the settings. BlueMail detects the correct Sky servers automatically. If you're asked to enter them manually, use the settings below: incoming imap.tools.sky.com and outgoing smtp.tools.sky.com exactly as listed.
  5. Done. Your Sky inbox appears and stays in sync on every device you sign in on.

Sign in with your Sky iD password — and keep the account active

Sky email (Sky Yahoo Mail) uses Sky's own servers and your Sky iD password — Sky no longer offers generating new app passwords, so the account password is the way in (previously created app passwords keep working). Two cautions: Sky deletes mailboxes unused for 12+ months — sign in to Sky Yahoo webmail at least every six months, and note that auto-forwarding doesn't count as activity. And emails claiming "@sky.com is closing on [some date]" are phishing — Sky has not closed the service.
