How to Use
- Open BlueMail
- Tap the Settings icon (gear)
- Tap Sync & Storage
- Toggle Auto Download on WiFi on or off
Options
- Enabled (default): Attachments and full email content only download automatically when you're on WiFi. This helps save your mobile data.
- Disabled: Downloads happen automatically on any network, including cellular data.
Tips
- Keep this enabled if you have a limited mobile data plan
- You can always manually download individual attachments when on cellular, regardless of this setting
- Combine with the auto download size limit for more control over what gets downloaded
- This setting is specific to each device since your data preferences may differ between phone and tablet
Troubleshooting
Attachments not downloading automatically
Check that you're connected to WiFi. If this setting is enabled, automatic downloads won't happen on cellular data.
Want to download something now on cellular?
Tap the attachment directly to download it manually. This setting only controls automatic background downloads.
Setting not appearing
This setting is not available on desktop since computers typically don't have cellular data restrictions.
