To provide a full-featured email experience, BlueMail requires access to certain capabilities on your device, such as your Contacts (for address book integration) or Camera (for adding attachments).
Why These Permissions Matter
- Contacts: Allows you to easily autocomplete addresses when composing emails.
- Microphone: Enables voice dictation features or creating voice notes.
- Camera/Photos: Required to attach images or scan documents directly into an email.
How to Manage Permissions
You can revoke permissions at any time if you prefer to limit the app's access, though some features may stop working.
To adjust permissions:
- Go to your device's main Settings app (outside of BlueMail).
- Scroll down to find BlueMail.
- Tap Permissions.
- Toggle the switches for Camera, Contacts, etc., based on your preference.
BlueMail will only ask for these permissions when you first try to use a feature that requires them.
