הַמסָךְ נעִיל

המסך הנעילה adds extra layer of security to BlueMail by requiring a passcode (and optionally biometrics like Face ID or fingerprint) to access your emails. Even if someone has access to your unlocked phone, they cannot read your emails without your BlueMail passcode. This is especially useful for protecting sensitive email content.

How to Find

1. Open BlueMail
2. Tap the Settings icon
3. Tap Privacy & Security
4. Look for Screen Lock or Passcode

How to Use

1. Navigate to Privacy & Security settings
2. Tap on Screen Lock or Passcode
3. Tap the switch to enable Screen Lock
4. If this is your first time, you will be prompted to create a passcode
5. Confirm your passcode
6. Screen Lock is now active

Tips

• Enable Screen Lock if you share your device or want extra privacy for your emails
• Combine with biometrics (Face ID or fingerprint) for quick, secure access
• Set your Lock Timeout preference to balance security with convenience
• Your BlueMail passcode is separate from your device passcode
• This setting is specific to your device and does not sync to other devices
• Even with Screen Lock enabled, you may still receive notification previews (configure separately)

Troubleshooting

Forgot your BlueMail passcode:

• Look for a "Forgot Passcode" option on the lock screen
• You may need to sign out and sign back in to your email accounts

Screen Lock not appearing:

• Make sure the setting is enabled in Settings > Privacy & Security
• Check your Lock Timeout setting - the lock only appears after the timeout

Biometrics not working:

• Ensure biometrics are enabled in BlueMail's Screen Lock settings
• Make sure your device has Face ID or fingerprint set up in device settings
• Passcode is always available as a fallback

Want to disable Screen Lock:

• Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Lock
• You may be asked to enter your current passcode to disable
