Troubleshooting

The Smart Filter GCL option appears grayed out or unavailable

  • Make sure Smart Filter is enabled first
  • Smart Filter GCL requires the base Smart Filter to be active

I enabled GCL but do not see a difference

  • GCL works behind the scenes to enhance classification accuracy
  • The effects are most noticeable with new incoming emails
  • Check your spam folder to see emails that have been filtered

Emails from legitimate senders are being filtered

  • Add the sender to your contacts to ensure delivery
  • Mark the email as "Not Spam" to improve future classification
  • Consider disabling GCL if filtering is too aggressive for your needs

I want the highest level of protection

  • Enable both Smart Filter and Smart Filter GCL
  • Consider using the "High" security profile which enables both automatically
