The Email Screener protects your inbox by filtering out suspicious or unwanted emails before you see them. You can choose how aggressive the screening should be, from no screening at all to catching potentially dangerous messages from unknown senders.

Options Explained
| Option | What Gets Screened | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Disabled | Nothing - all emails go to inbox | Users who manage their own spam filtering |
| Unknown Senders | Emails from new contacts | Moderate protection while staying accessible |
| Suspected Emails | Potentially harmful or phishing emails | Maximum protection against threats |
Tips
- Start with Unknown Senders if you are unsure - it provides good protection without being too aggressive
- Check your screened emails regularly to ensure important messages are not being held
- The screener learns from your actions - approving a sender teaches it to trust future emails from them
- This setting stays the same even when you change security profiles, giving you full control

Emails from known contacts are being screened

- Approve them from the screener queue to whitelist them
