BlueMail also runs as a web client: the full app in your browser, nothing to install, at web.bluemail.me.
Signing in
The web client currently supports Gmail and Office 365 accounts only.
- Open web.bluemail.me in any modern browser.
- Sign in with your Google or Microsoft account through the provider's own sign-in page — the same secure flow the mobile and desktop apps use.
Your mail loads straight from your provider, so what you see matches your other devices. Other account types (IMAP/POP3 providers, Yahoo, AOL, and so on) can't sign in to the web client yet — use the mobile or desktop apps for those.
When the desktop app is having problems
The web client runs entirely in the browser, independent of the desktop app — so if the desktop app won't start or misbehaves, web.bluemail.me is the quickest way to keep working with your mail (and a useful check: if webmail works, your account and password are fine, and the problem is local to the desktop installation).
Good to know
- The web client covers everyday mail; some features remain exclusive to the native apps.
- On a shared or borrowed computer, remember to sign out when you're done.
