When an email arrives, the useful question is usually "what else have we said to each other?" Interactions answers it without making you leave the message. Open an email and you'll spot a small line just above the sender, something like 1 email in cluster. That's your history with this person, gathered in one place.
What You Get
Tap that line and a card slides up with the sender's name and address, plus the things you'd otherwise go hunting for:
- View Cluster — every message between you and this person.
- Create Event — turn what you're reading into a calendar entry.
- View Profile — the contact's full details.
- Send Email and Send Chat — start a new message right there.
- GemAI Summary — a quick recap of the conversation.
Opening a Cluster
- Open any email.
- Tap the cluster line just above the sender's name.
- Choose View Cluster.
Inside a cluster you'll see everything you and that person have exchanged. Tap the name pill at the top to narrow it down to All, Unread, or Starred.
Turning It Off
If you'd rather not see the cluster line at all:
- Go to Settings | Global Settings | Advanced Features.
- Scroll down to Enable Interactions — it sits near the bottom of a long list.
- Turn it off.
The cluster line disappears from your emails right away. Turn it back on the same way whenever you want it back.
