Biometrinen todennus

Unlock BlueMail quickly and securely using Face ID, Touch ID or your device's fingerprint sensor.

How to Find This Setting

Settings > Lock Screen > Biometric Authentication

How to Use

  1. Open BlueMail
  2. Tap the Settings icon (gear)
  3. Tap Lock Screen
  4. First, set up a passcode if you haven't already
  5. Toggle Biometric Authentication on

Options

  • Enabled: Use your face or fingerprint to unlock BlueMail. Passcode remains available as a backup.
  • Disabled (default): Only passcode entry is available to unlock the app.

Requirements

  • A passcode must be set up first
  • Your device must support biometric authentication
  • Biometrics must be enrolled in your device settings

Tips

  • Biometric unlock is faster and more convenient than typing a passcode
  • Your passcode is always available as a backup if biometrics fail
  • This setting is specific to each device since biometric data can't be shared between devices
  • For maximum security, use both biometrics and a strong passcode

Troubleshooting

Biometric option not appearing

Make sure your device has Face ID or Touch ID set up in your device's system settings. BlueMail can only use biometrics if your device supports them.

Biometric auth keeps failing

Try re-enrolling your biometric data in your device settings. Also ensure nothing is obstructing the sensor (Face ID) or your finger is clean and properly positioned (Touch ID/fingerprint).

Still need to enter passcode sometimes

After extended periods or device restarts, you may need to enter your passcode once before biometrics work again. This is a security feature.
