If two-step login is on for your @wp.pl, @o2.pl or @tlen.pl address, BlueMail needs a hasło do programu pocztowego (email app password) instead of your normal password. Otherwise, use your normal password.
Steps to Create a WP or o2 App-Specific Password
- Sign in to WP Konto, which WP and o2 share, in a web browser: 1login.wp.pl.
- Select Bezpieczeństwo (Security), then the Logowanie dwustopniowe (Two-step login) tab.
- Under Hasła do programów pocztowych (Email app passwords), select Utwórz hasło (Create password). It stays inactive unless two-step login is on (app code or security key).
- Name the mail app and the device. Each password works on one device only.
- Copy the password shown on screen, without spaces.
- In BlueMail, enter this password instead of your normal WP or o2 password: when you add the account, or for an account already in BlueMail, under Settings | Accounts | [your account] | Update Password.
With or without two-step login, BlueMail needs IMAP on: in WP Poczta or Poczta o2 webmail, select Opcje (Options) | IMAP/POP and turn on IMAP.
