BlueMail Work is BlueMail for organizations, the same app your team already likes using, with the management tools your IT department needs behind it. It runs on every platform BlueMail supports, natively: Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android.

Whatever the size of your organization, there is a tier that fits, from a team of ten to a fleet of thousands.

The Admin Console

The BlueMail Admin Console is the single place your IT team runs company email. It gives you real-time visibility into who is using BlueMail, on which platform, and with what compliance posture, then lets you act on it: push policies, revoke access and investigate issues from one console.

It also covers the day-to-day of running a fleet:

  • Company-wide security rules: password requirements, lock-screen rules and OAuth scopes, applied automatically rather than left to each person.
  • Usage insight: see who is active and where to focus, without invading anyone's privacy.
  • One invoice: a single payment method, with clear visibility into every seat your team uses.
  • An audit log: a clear, exportable record of every administrative action, compliance-ready.
  • Corporate Clusters: customize your organization's cluster images and groupings so your team's inbox feels like home.

Deployment that configures itself

BlueMail deploys, configures and governs itself through the device management platform you already run. There is no proprietary agent and no parallel console: BlueMail speaks the AppConfig community standard, so it behaves like a first-class citizen in every major MDM, EMM and UEM platform.

Define the configuration once and BlueMail reads it on first launch: account, servers, authentication and security posture. Variables such as the user's principal name resolve per device, so one payload can provision a thousand inboxes. Policies are then enforced at the app level and re-evaluated continuously, so changing a rule in your console moves the whole fleet with no reinstall and no re-enrollment.

That is also how S/MIME certificates reach people: you publish an identity and it is simply there when they open the app. See Can I deploy BlueMail with MDM? for the parameters, and S/MIME Support for the feature itself.

Personal phones, without the awkwardness

Most people read work email on a phone they own, and they should not have to hand it to IT to do so. BlueMail supports app-level management. Android Enterprise work profiles, Apple User Enrollment and pure MAM deployments, so corporate data stays governed while personal data stays personal. When someone leaves, a selective wipe removes the company's mail and leaves their photos alone.

Conditional Access

Assign mailboxes to user groups directly from the dashboard: define them once, apply them everywhere. You can set read, write, send and admin scopes per group, so least privilege is the default, and you get that control without standing up Active Directory infrastructure.

Corporate Contacts

One company directory, available everywhere. BlueMail Work supports the Global Address List, Active Directory and BlueMail's own hosted directory, all managed from the dashboard. Sync from on-premises Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID to keep one authoritative source, or if you are not a Microsoft shop, use the hosted directory and run no servers at all.

Remote lock screen management

Enforce lock-screen passwords across the fleet, get notified when a device sees repeated failed unlock attempts, and lock or wipe a lost or stolen device instantly, so company email never ends up in the wrong hands.

Microsoft Exchange, spoken fluently

Exchange is a family of protocols rather than one, and BlueMail speaks the two that matter: Exchange ActiveSync and Exchange Web Services. It was built first for the Exchange Server in your own data center, with Exchange Online supported alongside it.

Setup is automatic: enter your address and BlueMail discovers the right endpoints through Autodiscover, negotiates modern OAuth authentication where your server supports it, and encrypts every connection with TLS. No server names to look up. See Adding an Exchange account.

Security and compliance
