Our Integrated Calendar App provides seamless access to your calendar events directly within BlueMail. Effortlessly view, create, and edit your upcoming events with the user-friendly and customizable BlueMail interface.
How to Access the Calendar?
- Windows, Mac & Linux: Click the Calendar icon in the Left Pane to open the Integrated Calendar App.
- iOS & Android: Tap the Calendar icon at the bottom to access the Integrated Calendar App.
Navigating the Calendar
There are five views — Day, Week, Month, Work Week and Agenda:
- Day focuses on a single selected day, and Week and Month widen that out.
- Work Week shows only the days you set as work days — see Work Days.
- Agenda lists your events in order rather than on a grid.
Pick which one the calendar opens with under Default View. Today returns you to the current day.
Searching for an Event
- To search, tap the vertical 3-dot menu at the top right and select Search. Enter your keywords to find specific events.
Creating an Event and Inviting Guests
- In the Calendar, tap the + button to open the New event form.
- Give the event a title, and pick which account's calendar it belongs to — the Calendar row at the top of the form.
- Set the start and end time (or All-day), repetition, time zone, and location as needed.
- To invite people, tap Attendees. On the Add Attendees screen, type each guest's email address into Add people — addresses must be valid, and each guest can only be added once — then tap Done.
- Tap Save. When the event has guests, invitations are emailed to them as standard calendar invites; if you edit the event later, your guests are sent the update the same way.
This works with the accounts the Integrated Calendar syncs — so invitations behave the way Gmail and Outlook users expect, straight from BlueMail.
For the other side of this — an invitation someone sends you, and answering it Yes, No or Maybe — see Adding event invitations to your calendar.
Configuring Calendar and Notification Settings
- Go to Settings | Global Settings | Calendar.
- The Calendar Settings screen holds Calendar notifications, First Day of The Week, Default View, Time Format and Work Days.
- To stop event reminders, turn off Calendar notifications — described on the screen as "Show reminders for upcoming calendar events on this device".
Automatic and Manual Calendar Integration
We automatically integrate your account with the Integrated Calendar for major providers like Gmail, Microsoft (Exchange ActiveSync) and AOL. For manual integration or to configure CalDAV, please refer to our guide on configuring CalDAV.
