What are Comments?

Цей контент ще не доступний вашою мовою.

Comments let you talk about an email right where it is, without sending another email. Ask a colleague a question about a customer's message, agree on an answer before anyone replies, or leave a quick note for the whole thread. Comments appear in the conversation, alongside the emails.

Who can see a comment

Every comment has an audience, and you choose it before you post:

  • Internal: only people in the conversation who share your work email domain. Anyone outside your domain never sees it.
  • Everyone: everyone on the email, inside and outside your domain.
  • Only Me: a private note that only you can see, on all your devices.

Internal comments are marked Internal, so you always know which ones your team alone can see.

How to write a comment

  1. Open a conversation.
  2. In the reply bar at the bottom, tap Comment.
  3. Tap the audience button on it (it starts on Internal) to choose who can see it: Internal, Everyone or Only Me.
  4. Type your comment and post it.

To bring someone's attention to it, use Mention someone and pick a colleague from the conversation. You can also attach a file.

The reply bar remembers your choice, so the next thing you write goes to the same audience until you switch back to Reply.

Replying, editing and deleting

  • Reply: tap a comment to reply to it. Your reply appears under it.
  • Edit or delete: long-press one of your own comments (right-click on a computer), then choose Edit or Delete.
  • Not sent: if a comment could not be sent, for example because you were offline, it is marked Not Sent. Tap the label to Resend or Delete it.

Seen by under an internal comment shows how many of your colleagues have read it.

People who don't use BlueMail

Colleagues who can see your comment but don't use BlueMail may receive it by email, sent from your account, so they can read it and reply.
