This page covers the two Slovak mail providers: Azet (azet.sk) and Centrum.sk (centrum.sk, atlas.sk, pobox.sk). Both share the same trap, and it is the reason most of these accounts fail to add:
On their websites you sign in with a short account name. In a mail app you must use your complete email address as the username. So the credentials you have typed on azet.sk or centrum.sk for years are rejected here, the password looks wrong, and retyping it doesn't help. Type the whole address, including the part after the @.
Find your provider below and use only that block.
Azet — azet.sk
Azet's sign-in page asks for your account name (Zadaj názov účtu), so an Azet user naturally enters xyz. BlueMail needs xyz@azet.sk. There is no app-specific password and no separate switch to enable mail apps — your ordinary Azet password is the right password, once the username is the full address.
| Server | Port | Security | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Incoming (IMAP) | imap.azet.sk | 993 | SSL/TLS |
| Incoming (POP3) | pop3.azet.sk | 995 | SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing (SMTP) | smtp.azet.sk | 465 | SSL/TLS |
Use port 465 with SSL/TLS for sending, not 587. Azet's port 587 accepts a connection but offers no way to sign in to it, so an account set up that way will add successfully and then fail every time you send. If auto-detect put 587 in the outgoing settings, change it by hand.
If the password is definitely right and it still won't sign in, the mailbox may no longer exist. Azet's policy is that an account left unused for around three years can be removed, so a long-dormant azet.sk address can fail because there is nothing left to connect to. Try signing in at azet.sk in a browser — if the website refuses you too, the problem isn't BlueMail.
Centrum.sk — centrum.sk, atlas.sk, pobox.sk
Start with this: sending is only available on the larger 5 GB mailbox, and the upgrade — which is free — has to be activated by verifying your mailbox by SMS in webmail first. Until you do, the outgoing server will not accept your sign-in. Because BlueMail checks the outgoing server while the account is being added, a brand-new or never-verified Centrum mailbox fails to add even when the incoming password is perfectly correct.
To do it, sign in at centrum.sk in a browser, activate the large mailbox and complete the SMS verification. The operator's own instructions: Nastavenie e-mailových klientov.
| Server | Port | Security | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Incoming (IMAP) | imap.centrum.sk | 993 | SSL/TLS |
| Incoming (POP3) | pop3.centrum.sk | 995 | SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing (SMTP) | smtp.centrum.sk | 465 | SSL/TLS |
| Outgoing (SMTP), alternative | smtp.centrum.sk | 587 | STARTTLS |
For an atlas.sk address use imap.atlas.sk and pop3.atlas.sk; for pobox.sk, imap.pobox.sk and pop3.pobox.sk. Sending stays on smtp.centrum.sk for all three. Use your full email address as the username on every one of them.
Do not use port 143 or 110. They are open, but unencrypted, and Centrum offers no way to secure them.
If sign-in is refused from abroad, Centrum may have put the mailbox into emergency mode, which blocks IMAP and POP3 sign-in from other countries until you set a brand-new password — one you have never used before — from a desktop browser. That page is heslo.centrum.sk (heslo.atlas.sk for Atlas, pheslo.centrum.sk for Pobox). If you are travelling or on a VPN and the account suddenly won't add, this is the likely cause: Núdzový režim.
Not the same as the Czech Centrum
@centrum.sk and @atlas.sk are a different service from @centrum.cz and @atlas.cz, run by a different company on different servers. If you have a Czech address, use How to Add Seznam and Centrum Accounts instead — putting a .cz hostname against a .sk address, or the reverse, will not connect.
Where these go in BlueMail
Try the normal sign-in first. On the password screen, Allow BlueMail to auto-detect the server details of your account is ticked by default — leave it ticked and tap Next. Enter your full email address as the username even here.
If BlueMail can't find the details, enter them by hand:
- First account? Tap Continue, type your email address, tap Sign in, then tap Having trouble? Manual Setup under the Sign in button. Already have an account in BlueMail? Go to Settings | Accounts | Add Account.
- On the Choose provider screen, tap Manual Setup at the bottom.
- Choose IMAP (or POP3).
- Fill in the form. Username is a separate field from Email Address — put the complete address in both. Pick SSL, TLS or STARTTLS in the Security dropdown to match the table above.

Why Won't My Account Add? Quick Fixes and Can't Add My Account work through the other usual causes. If the account added but sending fails, check the outgoing port first — see Edit Account for where to change it.
