Infomaniak Mail addresses (@ik.me, @etik.com, @ikmail.com, or your own domain hosted at Infomaniak) need a device password in BlueMail. Your Infomaniak login password will not work.
Steps to Create an Infomaniak App-Specific Password
- Sign in to Infomaniak Mail in a web browser: ksuite.infomaniak.com/mail.
- Select the ⋮ menu next to your email address, then choose Email address settings.
- Under Password, select Manage, then Add a device.
- If asked, enter your Infomaniak login password.
- Under On which device?, choose New device and name it, for example BlueMail.
- Select the IMAP / SMTP tab, scroll down and select Display password. Copy it now: Infomaniak will not show it again.
- In BlueMail, enter this password instead of your normal Infomaniak password: when you add the account, or for an account already in BlueMail, under Settings | Accounts | [your account] | Update Password.
An application password from the Infomaniak Manager will not work for email, even with two-factor authentication on.
Address on your own domain? If you can't add a device, ask your Mail Service administrator for a device password.
