If your Seznam account (for example @seznam.cz, @email.cz or @post.cz) uses two-factor authentication or a passkey, BlueMail can't sign in with your normal password. Seznam requires a separate Heslo pro aplikace (application password) that you choose yourself.
Steps to Create a Seznam App-Specific Password
- Sign in to your Seznam Account in a web browser and open Zabezpečení účtu (Account Security).
- In the Dvoufázové ověření (Two-Factor Authentication) section, on the Heslo pro aplikace row, select Nastavit (Set).
- Type a new password in both fields and select Uložit změny (Save changes). It must differ from your Seznam login password.
- In BlueMail, enter this password instead of your normal Seznam password: when you add the account, or for an account already in BlueMail, under Settings | Accounts | [your account] | Update Password.
No two-factor authentication or passkey? Use your normal Seznam password instead; server settings are in How to Add Seznam and Centrum Accounts.
If two-factor authentication is turned off, this password stops working and BlueMail needs your normal Seznam password again.
