The bottom bar of the inbox has these tabs, left to right:
- Mail — your email list.
- Contacts — your contacts and groups; see Contacts.
- Calendar — the Integrated Calendar; see Calendar.
- Apps — a screen of cards for everything else: Tasks, where Reply Later and Done mail waits, alongside Calendar, Contacts, Screener and Group Notes.
- Compose — start a new email.
The two middle slots are yours to set. They start as Contacts and Calendar, and Customize at the top of the Apps screen swaps either one for Tasks, Screener, Group Notes or the AI Hub. Mail, Apps and Compose are fixed.
In the Outbox the bar is hidden altogether, because that folder is its own destination — you leave it by its Back to Inbox row rather than by switching tabs.
One more can appear depending on the time of year: a World Cup tab while that tournament is running, which you can switch off with Hide World Cup under Settings | Global Settings | Advanced Features.
