Ask GemAI brings your AI assistant into the conversation itself, rather than off to one side. Tap the Ask GemAI icon from a compose screen or the reply bar of a conversation, and it joins the thread.
What makes it different from asking an assistant privately is that everyone on the thread sees the answer. GemAI reads the conversation for context, so its replies fit what is actually being discussed, and any participant can follow up with a question of their own.
