Android itself handles moving apps to an SD card, so this is done from your device's own Settings and works the same way for every app you have installed.
If your aim is simply to reclaim space, Storage usage shows what BlueMail is holding and where, which is often the quicker win. Whether it's available to you depends on your device and your version of Android, not on BlueMail.
Check if your device supports it
Some Android devices support what's called "adoptable storage," which lets the OS treat an SD card as extended internal storage and move apps onto it. Not all devices or Android versions offer this, and not all apps allow it.
Where to look
The exact menu wording varies by Android version and device manufacturer, but the general path is:
- Open your device's Settings app (not BlueMail's settings).
- Go to Apps (sometimes called Apps & notifications or Application Manager).
- Find and tap BlueMail.
- Tap Storage.
- If your device supports it, you'll see an option like Change or Move to SD card.
If you don't see this option, your device or Android version doesn't support moving this app's storage, and there isn't a workaround on BlueMail's side.
Before you move anything
Back up anything important before changing an app's storage location, since this is a device-level operation outside BlueMail's control. Your emails themselves aren't at risk — BlueMail's cached message data will simply resync from your mail provider after the move — but treat any local device changes with the same caution you would for any OS-level storage operation.
