Each email account in BlueMail has its own profile: a photo, your name, what the account is for, and as much or as little detail about you as you want to add. BlueMail uses it across the app, including in your contacts and signatures. That makes it easy to put your official photo on your work account and a different one on your personal account.
Your profile is completely optional. Fill in what you like, or skip it, and BlueMail works just the same.
Open your profile
- Go to Settings and tap My Profiles, the banner with your account picture at the top of the screen.
- Every account has its own card. Under the address, the card tells you where that profile stands: All Set, Add a Photo, or Finish Setup when a detail is still missing.
- Tap the card, or the Edit button on it, to open Edit Profile for that account.
Two shortcuts open the same screen:
- Tap your account name at the top of the mail list to open the account picker, then tap Add profile photos.
- Tap your round account picture at the top-left of the mail list to open the folder list, then tap the edit icon next to your name.
What you can fill in
The top section, Essential information, shows how much of it is filled in, for example 2 of 5:
- Name (required): your name, the way you want people to see it.
- Email Address: the account's address. It is shown for reference and can't be changed here.
- Account type: how you use this account, Personal, Work, School or Other.
- Description (required): a short label for the account.
- Title / Role: your job title.
- Phone number: pick the country first, then type the number.
Tap More details for the optional extras: Company / Organization, Location, Website / LinkedIn, Social media links, Date of birth, Time zone, Bio, Industry and Skills.
When you are done, tap Save at the top right.
Add or change your photo
Tap your photo at the top of Edit Profile (it has a small camera badge). In Choose a photo, you can:
- pick a picture BlueMail already has for you, under Your profile photo or Your company,
- Choose from photo library…,
- Take photo with your camera,
- or Remove Photo.
Then tap Save.
Have more than one account? Set up each one separately. Every account in My Profiles has its own card and its own profile.
