When someone sends you a meeting invitation, a .ics attachment, BlueMail shows it as an invitation rather than a plain file, with the event's details and buttons to answer it.
Answering an invitation
- Open the email. It appears as a Meeting invitation, with the title, time and organizer.
- Choose Yes, No or Maybe.
Your answer goes back to the organizer, and accepting adds the event to your calendar, the BlueMail Integrated Calendar if you use it, or your device's own calendar app.
Sending an invitation of your own
To create an event and invite people to it, see Creating an event and inviting guests in the Integrated Calendar article.
If the invitation looks like a plain attachment
Some senders attach the .ics file in a way BlueMail cannot read as an invitation. Open the attachment and your device will offer to add it to a calendar app instead. For calendars to sync at all the account needs calendar access. See calendar and contact sync for Exchange and Office 365 and configuring CalDAV.
