With GemAI, you can make summaries of emails and create replies based on the message you've received using AI. Whether you're dealing with a busy inbox or simply want to save time, GemAI can be a valuable addition to your email workflow.
The Summarize option will automatically generate a short summary of the email for you, while the Reply option will allow you to quickly generate an answer based on the message you've received.
You can also use our GemAI feature to generate new emails quickly and easily. GemAI will then generate a new message based on your input, saving you time and effort.
To use GemAI, open an email or a compose window and tap the GemAI icon. It is available on Windows, iOS and Android.
What you can choose depends on where you are:
- In an email you received — Summarize (GemAI) for a short digest, Reply to draft an answer, or Translate to read the whole message in your own language. See GemAI Translate.
- In a compose window — draft a message from a short prompt, or Proofread what you have already written. See GemAI Writer.
