What are the Icons on the Top Bar of the Mail List?

The top of the mail list in the BlueMail mobile app has a few controls of its own. This page explains them. For the row of tabs at the bottom of the screen, see the bottom bar icons; for the 3-dot menu you see while reading an email, see the Mail View 3-dot menu.

Your account picture and name, at the top-left

The round picture at the top-left is your own account's avatar. Tap it to open the folder list, where you move between Inbox, Sent, Drafts and your other folders.

Next to it are your account name, with a small down arrow, and the current folder with its unread count underneath, for example Inbox (5). Tap the name to open the account picker, where you can:

The circles next to each email further down the list belong to the senders, not to you. See What is the Left Side Circle in Mail List View?

The chat button

The speech bubble at the top-right opens your chats.

The 3-dot menu at the top-right

Tap ⋯ at the top-right of the mail list for these options:

This is the mail list menu. When you are reading an email, the 3-dot menu in the top-right corner shows message actions instead, such as reply, forward, move and print, listed in What are the 3-dot Menu Options for Mail View?

The bar that reads Search... sits directly below the top bar. Tap it and start typing to search the folder you are in. See How does Search Work? If your version doesn't show the bar, Search is also available from the 3-dot menu above.

The row of filters

Under the search bar is a row of filters: All, People, Services, Unread and Starred. Tap one to see only that kind of mail. See What Are the Filters at the Top of the Mail List?

The round icon at the right end of that row shows when the mail list was last updated. Tap it to see, for example, Updated Now. To refresh the list yourself, see How to Refresh Mail List?

If you are asking about an icon this page doesn't cover, email support@bluemail.me with a screenshot and we'll point you to the right place.
