Group Mail by BlueMail lets you reach the people you regularly write to, a team, a family or a book club, in one go. Instead of adding everyone to an email one by one, start typing the group's name in the To field, pick the group, and your email goes to all of its members. See How to Send an Email to a Group.
How to create a group
- Open the Contacts tab at the bottom of the screen. (Settings | Groups & Contacts works too.)
- Tap the Create New button at the top right, the group icon with a +, then tap Create Group.
- Type a Group name. Tap Set photo if you would like to give it a picture.
- Tap Add members, tick the people you want, or find them with Type a name or email, and tap Add. The button shows how many people you have picked.
- Check the member list. You are already in it, and the ✕ next to anyone else takes them out.
- Tap Create & say hi.
BlueMail also suggests groups based on your recent conversations, ready for you to name. See What are Suggested Groups?
How to leave or delete a group
- Open the group's Group Info. In Settings | Groups & Contacts, tap Edit next to the group. Or open the group from the Contacts tab and tap its name at the top.
- Tap the 3-dot menu at the top right.
- Choose Leave group to take yourself out of the group, or Delete group to remove it for all of its members.
The same menu has Edit Group Info and Add members. To change a group's name or photo, see Naming a Group and Setting a Photo.
