BlueMail blocks tracking pixels in emails to protect your privacy. Here's how it works:
What Are Tracking Pixels?
Tracking pixels are tiny, often invisible, images embedded in emails that track your activity when you open the message.
How BlueMail Blocks Tracking Pixels
BlueMail automatically blocks tracking pixels. When you open an email that contains them, a notice at the top of the message reads Tracking Pixel Blocked, and a Tracking pixels detected banner appears with an option to Download all images.
Managing Images in Emails
- View Without Images: Open the email, and the tracking images will be blocked automatically.
- Download all images: If you choose, you can tap this to load every image in the message — but doing so may let the sender track your activity.
Adjusting Image Settings
Go to Settings | Privacy & Security | Advanced Features | External Content & Tracking to toggle Tracking Pixel Protection on or off. The same screen also has Block Remote Images and Link Parameter Stripping for additional control over external content.
