Supported Linux Distributions for BlueMail Installation

Linux

BlueMail for Linux is distributed through the Snap Store and runs on any distribution with Snap support. It requires a 64-bit Intel/AMD (amd64) system.

On distributions with Snap ready out of the box, installation is a single command:

sudo snap install bluemail
Snap Ready Out of the Box
  • Ubuntu (and official flavors: Kubuntu, Lubuntu, Xubuntu, …)
  • KDE Neon
  • Zorin OS
Requires Enabling Snap First

These distributions fully support Snap but don't ship with it preinstalled, each guide walks through the setup:

Not Supported

Snap requires systemd, so distributions without it (Alpine, Void, Devuan, Artix, Slackware) cannot run BlueMail.
