How do I Access other Folders like Drafts, Sent, Archive, and Trash?

iOSAndroid

Tap your account avatar at the top-left of the screen to open the Folder Drawer.

Your folders are grouped into sections, each under its own heading:

  • Main Folders — the system folders: Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Trash, Spam, Outbox, and Archive/All Mail. This set is fixed, so there is nothing to add to it.
  • My Folders — the folders you own, whether you created them in BlueMail or in your provider's web client. These are the ones you can rename, delete, or create, and a folder that contains subfolders shows an expand arrow next to its name.

Depending on your account you may also see Group Mail, Team Mailboxes, Service Folders or Locked.

Tapping a section heading collapses or expands that section, and BlueMail remembers the choice — a section you close stays closed the next time you open the drawer.

A Folder You Expect Is Not in the List

If Trash, Archive or another folder is not showing, work through these in order:

  1. The section is probably collapsed. Trash and the rest of the system folders sit under Main Folders. If you collapsed that heading at some point it is still collapsed now, and everything under it is hidden. Tap Main Folders to open it again.
  2. A folder you made yourself is under My Folders, not Main Folders. Only the system folders appear in the first group.
  3. The folder may be pointed at the wrong place. BlueMail decides which of your provider's folders to treat as Drafts, Sent, Spam, Trash and Archive. When that mapping is wrong, deleted or sent mail turns up somewhere unexpected — see How can I Map my Folders to match my Provider?.

On a tablet or desktop you can also hide or expand the folders pane to give the mail list more room.

Inbox → account avatar → Folder Drawer

If you have multiple accounts, see your Unified Folders to view folders across all of them at once.

Note: There is no per-folder sync switch in BlueMail. What you can change is how far back mail is kept on the device, which for an Exchange-family account is a single setting — see Folder sync for Exchange accounts and Offline Storage.
