Tapping the notification opens BlueMail on that exact new mail, so you land where you meant to go and can act on it immediately.
Often you will not need to open the app at all. Expand the notification and BlueMail gives you buttons to deal with the message on the spot, which keeps a quick reply or a delete down to a single tap from the lock screen.
Choosing Your Buttons
Which buttons appear is up to you. Set them under Settings | Global Settings | Customize Menus | Configure Notification Actions, choosing from:
- Reply, Reply All and Forward
- Archive and Delete
- Done, to clear it off your plate
- Reply Later, to set it aside for later
- Read / Unread and Star / Unstar
- Mark All Read
- Block Sender (Mark Spam)
You can have up to three on a notification at once, so pick the three you reach for most.
The actions that need a compose window, such as Reply and Forward, open BlueMail to finish the job. The rest are applied straight from the notification without the app coming to the foreground.
