What are the Pictures/Images of Services I See on some Emails?

Plenty of the mail in any inbox comes from a service rather than a person: a shipping notice, a newsletter, a receipt, an alert. BlueMail recognizes these and shows the service's own image beside the message, so you can tell at a glance what a message is before you read a word of it.

That makes scanning a list much faster. Familiar logos stand out from mail written by people, so you can pick out the message from a colleague among a run of notifications without opening anything.

It Changes the Actions, Too

Recognizing a service is not only about the picture. Because you are not going to reply to a receipt, BlueMail adjusts what it offers you: where a message from a person gives you Reply Today and Reply Later, a message from a service gives you Read Today and Read Later instead. The action is the same, and the wording matches what you would actually do with it.

Those are the same options covered in What Is Notification Snooze and How to Use It, so setting a newsletter aside for the weekend works exactly as setting aside a message you owe someone an answer to.
