Which Email Providers do you Support?

BlueMail is compatible with a wide range of email services including Gmail, Yahoo, Office 365, Outlook/Hotmail, AOL, iCloud, and various other IMAP email providers.

The big providers sign you in on their own page. Gmail, Outlook/Hotmail, Office 365, Yahoo and AOL all use their provider's sign-in, so you approve BlueMail there and never hand over your password. Server settings are filled in for you.

iCloud takes an app-specific password, which you generate in your Apple account; see Setting up an app-specific password for iCloud.

Everything else connects over IMAP or POP3, and BlueMail finds the server settings from your address wherever it can, so most accounts need nothing but the address and password.

BlueMail also runs its own mail service. If you would rather not use an outside provider at all, a @bluemailx.com mailbox is hosted by BlueMail, and password and recovery are handled in the app; see How Do I Change or Update My BlueMailX Account Password?. For email services like Yandex, GMX, Zoho, and GoDaddy, you can conveniently utilize the 'Other Email' option.

BlueMail supports IMAP and POP3, and for Microsoft accounts Exchange ActiveSync, Exchange Web Services (EWS) and Microsoft Graph. See which protocols BlueMail supports.
